Disneyland

We went to Disneyland on Monday... it was so fun! Daniel and Benjamin loved it. Benjamin keeps talking about the Nemo ride and the dancing he did. Daniel loved... well... pretty much everything. He was smiling, laughing, and clapping his hands all day long.

We met Tigger and Pooh.

When Benjamin saw Tigger he just stared at him like this for 5 full minutes while we were waiting in line to meet him. He also looks tired because it was nap time by now.

We managed to stay all the way until the end of the fireworks before we left. Daniel fell asleep right before they started (while we were still enjoying the Finding Nemo submarine ride) and Benjamin fell asleep in the stroller the second they ended.

California Or Bust!

We're leaving for California early tomorrow morning. We had originally planned to leave on Tuesday, but my dear friend Christa was able to score us a couple free tickets to Disneyland for Monday so we decided to leave early. Because we love FREE!

It goes without saying that I've been running around like crazy getting things ready to go. Babies and toddlers require a lot of stuff for a 2 week vacation. Especially a 2 week vacation at the beach.

In addition to Disneyland, we are planning on checking out SeaWorld, The San Diego Zoo, and the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Plus spending tons of time at the beach and the pool. The weather forcast- 75 degrees the entire time we're there. If there's something I love more than free, it's 75 degree weather.

We'll be back in Provo by the Fourth of July to continue our packing and getting ready for our move to Georgia.

Our New Home

I just got back from Georgia last night. We found a perfect townhome for us to live in while Jonathan is getting his doctorate from the University of West Georgia. (My mom accidently dropped the lens for her camera before taking the pictures of our house so you'll see the scratches in some of the pictures. But it doesn't take away from the awesomeness that is our home).

Friday's 7 Quick Things

Here we go again... sorry I've been awful at blogging, but things are crazy around here.

1. Jonathan has the swine flu. He's not going to die, although he may feel like it. We're glad he's feeling better today and hopefully he will be back to normal soon. He shared the swine flu with Benjamin and me, but we didn't get it as bad as he did. Zicam is my new best friend.

2. I leave for Georgia on Sunday to go find a place to live. Can we say excited?! Washer and dryer, dishwasher, my own bathroom.... I can't wait!

3. Benjamin's new favorite thing to do is play Yahtzee. He even says the word "Yahtzee" really well. I know, I hear it about 35 times a day: "mama play yahtzee... yahtzee!... mama bis (Benjamin) yahtzee." (Yes, he calls himself "Bis" I guess Benjamin is too hard to say. He still calls Daniel "Dah" too.)

4. Daniel is now 10 months old and tries to be right in the middle of everything that's going on. He is so curious about things and loves to feel like he's involved and contributing to whatever's going on. And he really really really wants to play Yahtzee with us.

5. Benjamin and Daniel are playing together now and not beating each other up so much. Well, I guess Benjamin isn't beating up on Daniel so much. They are both getting better at sharing toys and books. At least for a few minutes.

6. I already took my contacts out for the night and it's hard to type a blog entry without them. Just sayin'

7. I can't think of a seventh thing to write about. So goodnight!
